City Celebrations

Providence City will kick off the holidays with the fifth annual Tree Lighting and Visit with Santa on Thursday, Dec. 7.

Gather with neighbors to light the Christmas tree in the 100 North/Gateway Drive roundabout. Santa Claus will arrive at 5:30 p.m. and the lights will be turned on at 7 p.m. Visit with Santa and enjoy hot chocolate and dessert while welcoming in the holiday season.

We invite you to put an ornament on the tree that evening, just prior to the lighting. Ornaments will be available for a recommended donation of $15 (though any and all donations will be accepted) at the Providence City Office beginning November 20, or on-site the night of the lighting. Proceeds from ornament sales will go to The Family Place.
