Prior to making adjustments to the 2017 Budgets for General Fund, the City Council is holding a public hearing. The purpose of the public hearing is to provide an opportunity for anyone interested to comment on the adjustments before action is taken. The City Council invites you to attend the hearing in order to offer your comments.

2017 Budget Adjustments for the General Fund (GF)

Increasing the GF Revenue: Licenses and Permits from $62,000 to $71,400 ($9,400 increase); Intergovernmental Revenue from $395,100 to $399,100 ($4,000 increase); Charges for Services from $615,875 to $620,675 ($4,800 increase); Fines and Forfeitures from $103,500 to $105,700 ($2,200 increase); Miscellaneous from $732,500 to $749,000 ($16,500 increase); total revenue increase based on actual revenues received $36,900.

Increasing GF Expense: Public Health and Safety from $286,000 to $286,500 ($500 increase); Administration from $927,500 to $973,500 ($6,000 increase); Public Works Administration from $139,000 to $150,000 ($11,000 increase); Public Works Streets Division from $840,500 to $ 844,000 ($3,500 increase); Community Development from $172,000 to $175,800 ($3,800 increase); Finance & Records from $466,675 to $478,775 ($12,100 increase); total expense increase based on estimated need $36,900.
