All dogs over two months old must be licensed. The fees are as follows:

• an unaltered dog - $25
• a spayed or neutered dog - $15

Providence City Ordinance imposes a late fee for any dog license purchased after January 31.

If you have a new dog, or if your dog's rabies shot has expired, a proof of rabies certificate is required to receive a dog license.

Providence City does not allow dogs in the parks, not on a leash or otherwise. (Exception: Von Baer Park Trail and Brookside Park walking/jogging path).
